Join us for episode 57 with our guest, Kaela Volkmer. Kaela is a wife, mother, and social worker who resides with her family in Omaha, NE. God has provided Kaela with a number of opportunities over the course of her life to travel abroad and experience a variety of cultures right here in the United States, so when she felt the call to help welcome Syrian refugees to Omaha, she was equipped to say “yes.” In this episode, she shares the moving story of how her parish recently banded together to welcome the Al Kango family to Omaha and what a rich blessing it has been to all involved. While you may not be called to help re-settle refugees in your community, we are confident that this episode will inspire you to welcome Jesus in the vulnerable in your life. Enjoy and have a wonderful week!
