Hello wonderful listeners! As summer break winds down for the kiddos in our lives, we hope you have enjoyed some of the different things we have done on the podcast to allow Heather to welcome her new baby, Maura, and to give Becky the opportunity to enjoy her children while they were home. This is our final week of “summer programming” and we are bringing to you two of our favorite episodes to enjoy. The first is an episode with Lisa Brenninkmeyer about finding your purpose, and the second is with Shane, Summer, and Emma Kennett about seeing God in those near you. Descriptions and links to listen are below! We’ll see you next week with a wonderful NEW episode!!
In this episode, we chatted with Lisa, mother of seven, author and speaker about her conversion to Catholicism, and how she channeled her desire to connect women with Jesus into an international Scriptural Bible study entitled Walking With Purpose. Lisa will speak right to your heart about how YOU can discover the work God is calling you-and ONLY you!- to complete, and how to rise up when the enemy tells you to shrink back. We know this episode will leave you convicted that God can and will use YOU if you allow Him!

Shane, Emma & Summer Kennett reside in Lincoln, NE and you might remember Shane’s incredible heart from her previous episode (Episode 39). After recording our first episode with Shane, we knew we wanted to hear more about her relationship with a woman she had befriended named Shirley. We were thrilled when she asked if Summer & Emma could join in for this episode, and it is one of our absolute favorites. Shane shares with us how she came to notice Shirley, strike up a conversation, and eventually began visiting her weekly. They share with us how crippling loneliness can be, and how simply smiling at those we encounter has the potential to change lives. You will truly see how these women showed the face of Jesus to Shirley, and how she mirrored it back to them in return. Prepare to get a little emotional, but more than that-prepare to be inspired!
