Heather McQuillan was raised in Holdrege, NE where she currently lives with her husband, Chris, and their three young children, Elizabeth, Maximilian, Maura, and one large yellow lab, Clancy. She is a former Marriage and Family therapist who now spends her days implementing interventions with her own children. In her spare time she enjoys running long distances and spending time on a ridiculous amount of hobbies, many of which will make you wonder if she is trapped in the body of a 87 year old (i.e. reading, knitting, and crocheting).
Becky resides in Holdrege, NE with her husband, Luke, and their six children. Becky is the music coordinator at All Saints Church in Holdrege. Her favorites include traveling, playing the piano, watching sporting events with her family, talking her husband’s ear off while enjoying a glass of red wine and any social event that satisfies her very extroverted nature.
About the Podcast
Though their backgrounds are very different, Heather (a convert to Catholicism in 2009) and Becky (a cradle Catholic and former postulant in the School Sisters of the Christ the King) became friends about five years ago after meeting at their church in Holdrege, Nebraska. As they grew in their friendships with each other and with Jesus, they simultaneously felt a call to do something big and bold for Jesus. Together, they decided to start a podcast! Today, they have interviewed Catholics from all over the world who are living the Gospel in unique and varied ways and have listeners from 6 continents. It is Heather and Becky’s hope that “Go Forth with Heather & Becky” will provide you with the tools and inspiration you need to be a more intentional disciple of Jesus and to consider how God is calling you to Go Forth!
